PHOTO A DAY 32

And I'm back!

Well, Photo a Day is back.

:]

I love that afgan on the couch.
My sister-in-law's great grandma made it a while back and she recently passed away.
She had about 10 of these beauties and gave me this one.
It is one of my favorite things in my house and I'm proud to own it!

We had dinner and dessert on the couch tonight.
We're both sleepy, cranky, and have long days tomorrow.
Jeremy had to work super late so it was just me and the kid.
Tomorrow will be better.
Then Friday will be crazy.
(It's my first day to be in charge FOR REAL at work...wish me luck please!!!)
I'm off to bed.

Jack's Lunch//1st Day of School

Jackson started school Tuesday. He is already loving it! I got him a Goodbyn lunch box after seeing the lovely Miss James use them for her kids. I love it! It's just perfect for Jack right now. He's in his super picky stage and I can fill this baby up with a ton of options for him. At this point, I just need him to eat something not the whole entire lunch. This way he can pick what he wants to eat. I also just ordered a smaller Goodbyn for days when I pack something I know he'll eat.

Disney pt. 3

The title probably shouldn't be Disney... But this was our Disney vacation.
This post is about none other than....

THE WIZARDING WORLD OF HARRY POTTER!

Yup. That's right.

Walking in.
Fake snow in 100* heat.
Hogworts Express.
Hogwarts.
We ate at The Three Broomsticks.
English food.
Good.
Inside The Three Broomsticks.
If you were paying attention, you could see shadows of house elves cleaning and running around. SO cool. Every little detail was amazing.
Yup.
So, of course, it rained. And I wore white. So I had to buy a shirt... hehe.
And butterbeer. OMG. I could drink that stuff everyday for the rest of my life.
Best thing ever.
My cousin and I dorkin' it up at Hogworts with our butterbeer.
   Yup.

Happy Birthday Husband//Outfit

Jeremy turned 31 yesterday! He's not too happy about getting older, but I think he's like a cheese... better with age. :]
 Jeremy with mini-Jack :]

Jack and I made him some cupcakes and a "happy birthday" banner. He had no idea we were doing anything for his birthday, but we did! I taught Jack to lift his arms up when I said Happy Birthday! It was awesome.

We went out on Friday night to dinner then met up with friends to celebrate.

This is what I wore:

 Shirt, Shoes, & Skirt: Target
Belt: Gift
Rings: Mixed Metals
Leather bracelet: Flourish
Pearl bracelet: Gift
Purse: Danny Brito

I think he had a good birthday.
I got him a beer making kit that I hope he uses soon. He's really into beer making.
(Though he's never done it!)

Disney pt. 2

The Magic Kingdom.

This was the 2nd most exciting part of the trip for me. I couldn't wait to let Jack ride rides and see the characters. It was going to be so great! Jack fell asleep about an hour after we got there...and slept for 3 hours. Believe me, I was happy he was resting and we did get to ride some rides while he was napping, but because it rained and rained and rained... we had to leave early. It was pretty disappointing. We were thoroughly soaked even with ponchos.

On the way after breakfast at Sizzler.
"Where Dreams Come True"
Walking in. That sight will never get old....yet the people around the sight.......
Check out the castle.
(My favorite photo from the whole trip)
Popsicle.
Our favorite was the pineapple.
And nap.
Rain. Rain. Rain.
Jack Mouse.

Magic Kingdom will have to happen again for the little guy. He missed so much. I know he's only 2, but still. He would have really enjoyed some of the rides and shows.

Disney pt. 1

We got to Florida on Wednesday around 11am. Straight from the airport we went to Hollywood Studios. It was hot. Like... HOT. But we tried to have a good time.
 Hollywood Studios.
 The crew.
 Pretty lady number 1.
 Me.
Jack was hot. His hair got NUTS.
He got to take a photo with a real Lightening McQueen and Mater.
 Pretty lady number 2.
She's a dancer... so she likes to pose. Ha.
 Love this ride.
Jeremy geeking it up at the Star Tours ride.

We had such a great time.

More to come!

We had a catering today. I rode the elevator about 12 times today. Tonight I hope to get caught up on blogging, momming, wife-ing, and cleaning...after we look at a new place.

Disney-cation...

I was kind of kidding myself when I thought that I could keep up with the "photo a day" while on vacation. I did take a photo a day (plus 500 more) so I'll share a few as soon as we get home.

We had an amazing time and we're waiting on a shuttle to the airport at the moment.

We didn't visit every park but we did get to Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, Islands of Adventures (Harry Potter!!!), Epcot, and we made it to Downtown Disney and the Boardwalk. Such a great time. We're missing my family already as they left before the sun this morning. I still have such a hard time saying bye to my mom.

Here's a peek::::

PHOTO A DAY 28

Our bed got a makeover today.
We're getting ready for Disney and with that... we have a sick toddler.
I can't believe he's sick. He's never sick.
I feel so bad for him because we have so much going on.
But today, we rested. He wore only a tshirt and diaper all day.
He watched his favorite movies and ate chicken noodle soup.
He only napped an hour but went to bed early.
Hopefully he'll feel better tomorrow and even better Tuesday.
I hope everyone had a good weekend.

PHOTO A DAY 27

Today was such a nice day out.
North Texas has had an incredibly miserable heat wave, and today was about 85* all day.
Windows down.
