Schlieper Family Portraits.

I have been so busy with the holiday and traveling. 

I do plan to post a lot more soon....well, as soon as i have time.

While I was home for Thanksgiving, I took my brother's family portraits.

I love them.

They are all so so photogenic and so much fun.

Aren't they just adorable?

I miss them!

BUSY.

I can't even explain how busy we've been.

Here's a little catch bullet point style.

- We're waiting on an important call.

- Jack had his 2 yr wellness check up...

- He's 34.8 lbs and 36 inches tall

- Jack and I are traveling Tuesday.

- I went to a Breaking Dawn party.

- Work.

- Cleaning.

- More work.

- And more cleaning.

- Oh and packing.

I will be back as soon as I can with some yummy recipes that I keep promising. 

Our week.

Last week Jack got sick. He had high fever, cough, and just not himself.

We took him to the doctor Monday and they told us he had strep.

No fun.

After a shot and a lot of tears, we came home and got settled for our long night(s) ahead.

Couch pallet. 

Lots of puppy cuddles and popsicles.

And lots and lots of sleeping ON mommy.

I didn't get any sleep for a few nights.

Fevers scare me.

Plus, having a 2 year old sleep on top of you isn't the most comfortable.

At one point Monday night, he would only sleep with my sitting up sitting on the couch. 

He would cry otherwise. 

It was such a hard week, but he's all better now.

He went to school Thursday and Friday.

Today he is at his grandparent's house, so I'll be running some much needed errands.

I have a recipe or two to share soon!

Zoo.

Saturday marked Jeremy's first weekend day off in a long time.

To celebrate, we went to the zoo as a family!

It was a little chilly at first, but soon warmed up and was perfect.

Jack had a great time making all the animal noises.

Yup. That's me. Reading one of my favorite books.

One that I've read probably 4-5 times. 

I'm reading it again.

Making it 6 times.

Yup.

I've seen all the movies...

in the theater....

on the weekend they come out.

I even had a New Moon party.

Oh, hell yes I did.

And I got invited to a Breaking Dawn party.

I'm pretty excited.

Halloween!

Jack was supposed to be Batman. He hated the costume. 

So we went with a Superman tshirt/cape and jeans.

He definitely didn't understand trick-or-treating but he liked walking around and seeing all the other kids. We eventually just parked ourselves in front of Jeremy's grandma's house and watched and played in the grass. He had his first lollypop. And LOVED it.
