Strawberry Lemonade//Recipe

Being that it has been over 100 degrees everyday since I can't even remember, I was feeling rather summery this weekend. I really wanted to make lemon squares (and I did) but I wanted to make something Jack would enjoy as well. So! Strawberry Lemonade is what I made!
Jack LOVES strawberries.

Simple syrup:
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 lemon, sliced
2-3 strawberries, chopped

In a small pot, mix the above ingredients and bring to a boil. Let boil about 2 minutes to get the flavors going. Then strain the mixture into a pitcher. You could not strain it, but I didn't like how the cooked lemons looked.

2-4 Lemons, sliced
5-6 strawberries, sliced
Water (depends on how big your pitcher is)
Ice

Mix these ingredients into your pitcher with the simple syrup.
ENJOY!
